Just finished the interview with Action Against Hunger, and feels okay lah. The telephone line is not very good today, in fact, it’s fine when I firstly speak to the Director of financial department, but after I was transferred to another person at the meeting room, I could hardly hear what was the interviewer speaking, and also, he got a very thick african accent, thus, I really had tough time to understand what he was talking about.
However, He was very nice, and explained a lot about the work there, really appreciate that! Eventho I couldn’t catch every single word he said, but still I’m quite satisfied with my performance today.
Some questions he asked me today: (I just caught the general ideas) - updated @ 11:22 19th Aug.
Why do you participate in this program?
There are a lot of works here, do you feel comfortable with that?
What’s your expectation about compensation?
What you’ve learned from your previous internship & part time job?
Who will financially support your participation in this program? And do you need any financial aids?
When can you arrive in New York?
Do you have passport?
Are you familiar with Excel?
Do you watch Olympic Games?
Are you living in Beijing or?
After the program, will you go back to China? or Stay in America?
How about your housing when you are here?
And other confirmations about blah..blah..blah
