Ok, wanna update something here, which i planned to yesterday, however, really don’t have much time to do the blogging yesterday, so…

1st thing in the agenda is I passed the interview of last Tue., which means I am accepted by Action Against Hunger as an intern, even tho, I’m still waiting for the further detail about my internship plan and wage, but still, it’s stimulating to me, and I’ll start to get prepare for my visa after I receive the official documents from them. So, I may be snowed under in coming several weeks.

Meanwhile, I’ve been working hard on my vocabulory there days, after suspended my account at englishtown, and the review work is really time consuming, it takes almost 3 to 5 hours everyday. And tonight, I started to prepare for GMAT, in fact, I began to do the exercises in official guide last week, but I found it’s pretty difficult, apart from tons of vocabulory i’m not familiar with, there mathematic questions are challenges to me too, so, i figured out i’d better learn some techniques which would be extremely helpful for me to get a handle on GMAT, so, i started to watch the course videos recorded by New Oriental, a well-known english training organization in China.

Have to stop here, nighty night

Just finished the interview with Action Against Hunger, and feels okay lah. The telephone line is not very good today, in fact, it’s fine when I firstly speak to the Director of financial department, but after I was transferred to another person at the meeting room, I could hardly hear what was the interviewer speaking, and also, he got a very thick african accent, thus, I really had tough time to understand what he was talking about.

However, He was very nice, and explained a lot about the work there, really appreciate that! Eventho I couldn’t catch every single word he said, but still I’m quite satisfied with my performance today.

Some questions he asked me today: (I just caught the general ideas) - updated @ 11:22 19th Aug.

Why do you participate in this program?
There are a lot of works here, do you feel comfortable with that?
What’s your expectation about compensation?
What you’ve learned from your previous internship & part time job?
Who will financially support your participation in this program? And do you need any financial aids?
When can you arrive in New York?
Do you have passport?
Are you familiar with Excel?
Do you watch Olympic Games?
Are you living in Beijing or?
After the program, will you go back to China? or Stay in America?
How about your housing when you are here?
And other confirmations about blah..blah..blah
